Delete your account and data

You can delete your Local Kine Word Game account yourself, inside the game, at any time. This works the same however you sign in — email code, Apple, Google or Facebook.

In the game

  1. Open Settings

    Open Settings in the game.

  2. Tap your account

    Under Account, tap the row that says how you're signed in, for example "Signed in with Email."

  3. Tap "Delete account"

    It's at the bottom of the Account screen, below Sign Out.

  4. Confirm

    Read the list of what will be deleted, type DELETE, and tap Delete my account. Changed your mind? Tap Sign out instead or Cancel.

What gets deleted

Deletion is immediate and permanent. It removes:

  • Your account and your email address
  • Your player name and avatar
  • Your sign-in records, including the link to your Apple, Google or Facebook account
  • Your stats and progress
  • Your chat history, including messages you sent
  • The games, coins and items stored on that phone

Gold Coins and items are forfeited and cannot be restored. Copies in our providers' routine backups or security logs may persist for a short time until they are overwritten.

Signed in with Facebook, Google or Apple? Deleting your game account removes everything we hold. If you also want to remove the game from your Facebook, Google or Apple account, you can do that in that service's own settings, under apps connected to your account.

Can't get into the game?

If you no longer have the game or can't sign in, email us from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm when it's done.

Playing as a guest?

Guest games, coins and stats are stored only on your phone, not on our servers. Deleting the game from your phone deletes them. Advertising data is handled by Google, as described in our Privacy Policy.
